Cody wants a little brother. We told him last night that he gets to be a big brother to a little baby.........

Stretched and Bloated

And just in case anyone is curious about the baby...it is definitely growing. I've been feeling stretched and bloated lately. We soon find out what we can call this little mango growing in me *he or she*. Fun stuff!! We can't wait. We have already started to clear things out of our now guest room soon to be nursery! Enjoy your day!

Love Is Sweet Fun

Some weekend fun! Love IS Sweet! This is how they calm down for bedtime apparently...

Today I would like to, and going forward, share with you some funny moments brought to you by Cody Daniel!! This kid comes up with the funniest things and doesn't mean to lol. Yesterday, he was playing with his lego guys and said "Dad, this is like bayblades. You have to manly spin it." What he should have said was 'you have to manually spin it.' Cracked us up. Later we sat down to play games and Cody was counting up his points and said his points get QUORDUPLED. I asked him how he spelled that and that's what he came up with!! Quadrupled is what he should have said. He was close that time. We all had a good laugh. Then even later, while they were "settling down for bed" (wrestling), I kept getting texts and Cody would answer the door. My text alert is a doorbell. He thought someone was ding dong ditching us. He continued to answer the door every time. Then he watched a video on my phone and a text came through again and he said "oh that's when the ding dong ditchers came". Rusty and I cracked up and Cody finally figured it out. We laughed including Cody!! Oh the innocence of a child.

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Rusty and I look forward to 2013 for many reasons...one being half way through this year our little one will be born!! These belly pics are at 17 weeks and 2 days.

Our baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Our baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and it's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. The baby can move its joints, and the sweat glands are starting to develop.

I'm starting to fit into maternity clothes now. Guess my butt is getting too big haha. Thank you to those of you that have been so kind as to lend me what you have so I don't have to spend a ton of money!! It's much appreciated. How I'm feeling you might ask? Well, I've been a bit emotional. I cry about a lot...more than I did before. I've been very hungry but just enough to eat almost constantly (not big meals though). I'm able to wear perfume again! And I can eat things that I had to X out in the first trimester because it would make me sick. One of my really good friends is planning my shower and we've started to talk about it briefly but it has now become all so real!! So fun!! Enjoy your New Year and talk with you soon.
